Local Whilburgher revival closes after successful meeting
The Methodist church revival concluded Sunday night led by Rev J B Hawkins with Rev Murrell of Chillicothe and Rev Johnson and wife from the Vernon mission providing preaching and singing. About thirty conversions reported and sixteen joined the church Sunday morning. Several local residents and visitors attended events and meetings throughout the week with multiple social and educational notices mentioned.
