Taxpayers lag as one fourth of county taxes remain due
County Collector C M Blair reports one fourth of Wilbarger County taxes unpaid with four days more to pay. Poll tax receipts are scarce with only about 100 women and under half that number in the city paying. Male voters show $1424 in taxes paid, with receipts scattered across districts. Vernon schools prepare a forty page course manual under Superintendent B F Sisk, after a recent text adoption has delayed publication to maximize long term usefulness.
