Expansion plans mapped out with Baptist millions
A Texas Baptist General Convention board meeting in Dallas authorized more than 5 million dollars for expansion. The treasury showed a 280 thousand dollar balance, with 750 thousand dollars raised from the 75 Million Campaign. Planned builds include new dormitories at Baptist schools, 1 million in Taylor Medical College and Baptist Memorial Sanitarium projects, and 250 thousand for state missions to hire missionaries and aid weak rural areas.
