Ketchersid was found guilty by a four juror panel in the 46th District Court of negligent homicide and fined 200 dollars. The verdict followed a trial that began the previous day after jurors reviewed evidence since noon. Earlier, in 1928, Ketchersid had a prior conviction and seven month jail term, with a later new trial granted.
