J W Seals living about one mile west of here displayed an exceptionally large peach crop last Tuesday. The largest peach was 10 inches in circumference and six weighed three pounds. He has only two trees of this variety but expects several bushels from them this year. The peach crop was unusually large statewide with orchards near Vernon supplying much fruit for market.
