Highway officials push bond plan for Wilbarger paving
Texas Highway Commission membersKR M. Michael of New Boston and DPD K Martin of Itasca toured the Teo Highway from Plainview to Vernon and proposed a bond levy to cover about one third of a $40,000 per mile paving program. If approved, Wilbarger County would gain roughly forty miles of new pavement at an estimated total cost of 4000000, financed by a tax levy not exceeding 5 cents per $100.

Vernon Schools Gain Credits Record in Texas Rank

Farmers Can Pork for Year’s Supply at Ronda Friday
A pork canning day at W W Welch home near Ronda Friday last week drew about 24 participants. John Storey Plays Lucky on Friday in Wichita Falls Crash
