An inquest heard that Frank Masur senior, who lived with his son near Lockett, hanged himself with bailer wire from a ceiling beam. Justice Griffiths ruled death by own action due to mental imbalance after signs of declining reasoning. Burial followed at Lockett cemetery.

City’s New Engine Arrived Tuesday
The city received a 200 HP Type Y Fairbanks Morse engine to supply street lighting and other uses. Cost about $15,000, one of the best of its size, and installation will begin immediately with the plant expected to be in operation by June 15. Moving the heavy engine required several teams and a large work force, taking two days to place it at the site.
