Woman Leaves Husband Arrested With Another Man
A druggist in Newtown reported a white man and woman living together contrary to law. They were arrested last week and held in the county jail. The man said his wife ran off with the other man, taking their three year old child. Officers say the pair had been living as man and wife in Vernon.

A crew began work today. pipe fishing and conditioning of idle equipment are needed before fishing can start, with operations expected to be well underway by Saturday. R H L Coffee of Vernon was named a director of the Texas Highway Association at a Dallas convention held Friday and Saturday of the first week.
