Special Easter services were held at First Methodist Central Christian and Federated Presbyterian Churches Sunday. The Knights Templar Easter service began at 11 at the Methodist Church with Rev. Henry Brooks delivering a sermon and Knights pledging to Christian obligations. Rev. TH. J. Stubbs of Central Christian preached a dawn sermon while Easter music was sung by choirs at Central and Federated churches.

A horse ridden by H A Samuel slipped in front of the Bailey Hotel on Pease Street and threw the rider onto the pavement. The animal, belonging to City Marshal Bratton, started to run after the fall, then slipped again near the courthouse fence. Samuel escaped with only a bruised face and torn trousers.

Oklaunion Man Reports Hens Laying Well This Month
Lawlis of Oklaunion owns Rhode Island Red hens in two pens that averaged twenty five eggs per hen this past month. He believes February was similar. A letter from Mrs. John Kelly of Electra mentions ten pullets bought in December that started laying in January and now average seventeen eggs per pullet each month.
