The Al bert EL Robinson post American Legion sponsored a two day harness race meet to be held June 13 14 with a trades day. The event will bring 50 to 75 of the best harness horses from the southwest to Vernon plus a burlesque court martial on March 23 for public entertainment and instruction. Mrs Linney Frazier of the Guyer community died here Sunday morning after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 8 o'clock at the Church of Christ, where she was a member, with Thomas K. Milholland presiding. She is survived by her husband, three children, a brother and three sisters, and her mother. A large number of friends attended the funeral. Burial followed at East View Cemetery. Also listed are names of local automobile owners registered last week.
