A community reels after the death of Ross Hutchins a fielding mate in Ashley Ward Tuesday afternoon. The killer is his eight year old playmate William Lowi who after leaving the Ashley polices at 1 30 pm returned home about 8 pm. He described entering the Hutchins home taking a chair climbing to a cupboard getting a shotgun and shooting Ross Hutchins in the skull from about six feet away. The boy dragged the body to the front door and moved it to the side of the house scattering eggs. The report continues in page 5.

Tourists Plunge Over Ditch Bank Near Roosevelt
A new Oldsmobile touring car carrying five Negro tourists heading to Wyoming through the Uintah Basin wrecked on a sharp turn near Myton. The driver and one rear occupant were injured by the crash causing the windshield and top to break. Passersby aided them and they drove the car to Roosevelt in their own power, grateful no one was hurt more severely.

Bridge Over Uintah River Approved Near Fort Duchesne
