Funeral Rites For Rollen Duke In Roosevelt
The funeral for Rollen Duke, 38, was held Tuesday at 11am in the Roosevelt Ward chapel. He died Friday night at his son’s home in Salt Lake City after a lingering illness. Born September 7, 1904 in Vernal, he was son of John Calvin and Lorraina Rosy Duke and former husband of Juanita Cowley. He lived in Price and Sunnyside, then Uintah Basin, worked for Utah Fuel and Duchesne County road dept. Survivor include widow, two sons Rodney and Robert, daughter Rolene Williams, three grandchildren, two sisters Myna Hogan and Delta Jeanselme. Burial in Price Cemetery.
