Cars, trucks collide injuring eight near Vernal Utah
A Monday two car and truck crash on U S 40 east of Vernal left eight injured. Kenneth Lynn Taylor 21 Roosevelt in fair condition with pelvis and internal injuries after his 1954 Chevrolet collided with a 1956 Chevrolet driven by Michael Adame 17 Maeser. Others injured included passengers and drivers from both vehicles with facial lacerations, broken noses, and multiple fractures. Investigating officer Lt. Sam Hatch noted no skid marks and improper passing and left turn citations were possible.

County Prisoner Walks Off Then Recaptured at Cemetery Gulch
