Why President Wilson Travels to France
President Wilson plans an Atlantic voyage to France in early next month to press the peace conference agenda. He will meet premiers George Clemenceau and Lloyd George in Paris or Versailles and push for a real league of nations and a redrawn world map, facing German propaganda and calls for punishment of central powers. Colonel E. M. House and Premier Clemenceau have advised the trip, with Wilson to be accompanied by Secretary of State Lansing and Pershing, aiming for a two to three week stay before the conference opening.

Work of the Red Cross Must Not Stop Because of Armistice
War Council urges Red Cross workers to continue relief efforts after peace. Even with ending hostilities, millions of soldiers remain under arms and many are sick or wounded. The organization must extend care to veterans and stricken regions as peace terms are decided, mobilizing American generosity and staff for ongoing relief work.
