Myrtle Rolfe King, longtime Uintah Telephone employee and Vernal resident, dies of a heart attack at her home after years of illness. Born August 31, 1892, she raised four children and was survived by her mother, twin sister Delphia Tuland, and several siblings. Funeral services are set for Saturday at the Vernal First Ward chapel with Bishop Pontha Calder presiding.

Thomas Clifton Blackburn 82 pioneer of this valley died Saturday night at his son T A Blackburns home in Lapoint. Funeral services were held in Maeser chapel with a mixed quartet and several speakers. Burial at Dry Fork cemetery.
