Three Shots Fired At Close Range In Market Altercation
Tuesday evening at the Farmers market H L Shaw was shot three times by Pardon Dodds over a money dispute. Two bullets hit Shaw, one in the chest and another in the back, a third grazing the arm. Dodds was arrested. Shaw sought medical care and is expected to recover. The charge is assault with intent to commit murder.

City council approved a sidewalk on the north side of the Central school block. The school district will survey the grade lay the foundation and curbing while the city furnishes and lays the asphalt. Dintah Basin Resident Tasses Away in Provo
Relatives of Andrew Patersen were advised of his death last night at the state mental hospital in Provo. Mrs Petersen, long a prosperous Uintah reservation farmer, became violently insane while visiting relatives here and was committed to the hospital last Friday. Petersen is survived by his mother, his widow, several minor children and several brothers and sisters. It is expected the body will be brought here for burial.

Sterling Moore son of John Moore of Duchesne was hospitalized with a fractured collarbone after a Provo auto crash Sunday evening. Moore attended school at the B U with three other students Julia Anderson Marguerite Juff and Russell B Hughes all of Provo.
