Recorder House and Power Line Bids Sought at Dutch John
Bids were advertised for a recorder house a seismograph vault and a power supply line at Tlaming Gorge. Sealed bids due by 10 am November 25 at the Bureau of Reclamation Dutch John office. Vernal Man Aboard Carrier Battles Explosion During Cruise
Vernal resident Whitey Daucum and nine other civilians were aboard the USSS Kearsarge when an ammunition compartment exploded aboard the carrier.
