Funeral Services For Finn Britt Held Thursday
Funeral services for George Findley Britt who died Tuesday were held Thursday at the Maeser LDS Chapel. Verdon Johnson spoke, Mrs Jarrett Caldwell led the funeral march, and a quartet sang The Lord is My Shepherd and Abide With Me. Dignitaries from Roosevelt and Rock Point attended as mourners and several spoke of Britt’s honesty and neighborly character.

TC Hayden Harrison, an Air Corps engineer, entered January 1942, trained at Jefferson Barracks, Mont Belyvir, Boise, now sent to the South Pacific. Ferris Harrison joined the Navy June 1943, trained at Farragut, Idaho, awaiting sea duty at Moffett Field, California. The Uhre boys are recently on furlough.
