Around the County with The County Agent Chronicle
County Agent Russell Keetch reports on agricultural conservation payments for Uintah and Daggett counties. Farmers will receive two installments totaling $25,000 to $30,000, with initial 60 percent and 19 percent for admin expenses. A second payment may be issued for compliance if admin costs are not used. The soil and grass programs aim to boost pasture quality and range improvements, with several applications and an emphasis on timely delivery before year end.
