Legion dues to rise for national and department fees
At the American Legion national convention in Las Vegas a vote increased National and Department membership fees by one cent each year starting January 1963. Wilbeck Post No. 11 will not raise post A level fees and the added cost will not be covered by current post dues. A dues increase begins in SCOUT PROGRAM TO BE HELD FRIDAY A meeting led by Bert Danenberg for cub scout adults lacking basic training is set for Friday November 2 at 1 30 pm in the Stake Center. All involved in cub scouting are invited. Wilbeck Post No 11 is conducting a membership drive to beat its 1963 quota by Veterans Day November 11.

Editor notes this as part of a series on new Uintah County School District staff. Miss Millicent Adams teaches fourth grade at Ashley Elementary, formerly taught first and fourth grades in Tampa. Mr. Der Allred, married, teaches World History and American Problems at Uintah High. he previously taught at Lincoln Junior High in Orem and is a BYU graduate. A Messiah rehearsal is set for Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Ashley Valley Junior High with all interested participants urged to attend.
