Election in Vernal City Uintah County Utah on July 20 1958 authorized bonds to expand sewer and water works. Bonds dated June 1 1957, bearing 3 percent interest, payable semi-annually, secured by full faith and credit of Vernal City. Utah National Guard engineer units will move heavy equipment into the Wasatch to widen the scenic Brighton Midway American Fork Canyon road. The two week summer camp will run June 23 with three engineer battalions carving four to six mile segments through Brighton area, widening the one lane 12 to 15 feet route to two lanes and adding culverts.
