Innocent Boy Shot at on Whiterocks Road by Unknown Indians
Fourteen year old Burnett Blackburn delivering a letter on the Whiterocks trail was shot at by an Indian while ponies were spooked. The bullet pierced his vest and coat and the sealed letter was damaged. Sheriff McNeill and Indian Agent Hall coordinated a search, with no certainty on identifying the assailants.
