Snitley F Slaugh of Vernal escaped unharmed when a supercharger exploded on a gasoline tanker west of Duchesne. The truck owned by Sewards & Sons burned, one passerby Noah Case of Salt Lake City suffered minor burns while aiding crews. Damages were about 3000 dollars.

Reclamation Officials Meet Here on Steinaker Feeder Canal
Bureau of Reclamation officials held a Vernal press conference to discuss Steinaker Feeder Canal problems. Attendees included Grant Bloodgood and George W. Car Abandoned After Joyride Sparks Road Block Near Ashby
