Final Balance On County Debt Is Paid
Mr Noel lauds county commission and treasurer for paying off bonded indebtedness begun with a $14,000 refunding and a $86,000 loan. With a 2.2 mill levy in 1941 a surplus was left to the general fund and warrants freed Uintah County from debt. Bonded debt once reached 314,000 and postwar measures may cut taxes while building a reserve for public works.
