Uintah Basin gas pipeline plan eyed by firms
Mountain Fuel and Utah Natural seek state approval for a 25 year lease and a new contract to operate the Clear Creek Orem system. The Uintah Basin pipeline would move gas from Joe's Valley and Flat Canyon to Orem, boosting service to an estimated 9,000 new customers annually and a 57 percent rise in industrial gas use over five years.
