New Utah Fishing Rules Take Effect April 15 1955
Utah anglers await changes for the 1955 season as the State Fish and Game Commission liberalized baits and tightened bag limits. The new rules, effective April 16 through the end of the angling year, set specific limits for species including bass and mackinaw and introduce separate limits for grayling catfish and whitefish. Separate openings and early closures are planned for several waters with trespass concerns noted.
