Frontier seeks Vernal stop to expand southern route
Frontier Airlines applied to the Civil Aeronautics Board to add a Vernal stop on its Salt Lake City to Grand Junction and Albuquerque flight, arguing Vernal 130 air miles east of Salt Lake City and near uranium sites needs an air link. Western Air Lines opposes the change, saying time savings are overstated and urging delay until the renewal case is decided.
