Water Use Study Now Underway in Uintah Basin
A cooperative water use project in Ashley Valley Utah is under way led by Grant Parrish of the Soil Conservation Service. The study, involving the Soil Conservation Service Division of Irrigation Utah Agricultural Experiment Station and Utah Engineer, will measure water use and evapotranspiration on alfalfa, grass and pasture at Vernal Airport and nearby sites.

Funeral Rites Held on Coast for Mrs Belcher
Mrs Cora Myrtle Johneon Belcher 44 former Vernal resident died March 13 in Long Beach California after illness. Funeral held at Park View Ward LDS Low Beach with Bishop Hyer presiding. Speakers Dr J M Carlson Edwin L McDonald. Burial Sunnyside Memorial Park. Survivors include husband Edward Harvey Belcher nine children and eight brothers. Belcher born April 21 1883 in Vernal to Lycurgus and Cora Davis Johnson. Married December 10 1902 in Salt Lake Temple.
