Funeral Services Held Friday For William Hyrum Oaks
Funeral rites were held Friday at 2 pm in Maeser chapel for William Hyrum Oaks 73 who died Monday after a yearlong illness in Maeser Utah. The service included prayer by Thomas E Caldwell and musical selections by local performers. Oaks born July 22 1872 in Daniels Creek was a longtime Uintah Valley civic leader and farmer with 29 grandchildren. He leaves his widow 13 of 16 children and many relatives.
