Now Fish and Game Licenses Will Be On Sale April 1
Fish and game licenses for 1956 will be in the hands of all agents over the state by April 1, the department of fish and game said this week. The old license year ends April 15. From that day forward early anglers on waters open to year round fishing must possess and display visibly a 1956 fishing or combination fishing and hunting license. The various licenses for 1956 are in the same form as last year, except the large identifying number on each has been changed in color for identification. New this year is a flat big game tag replacing the ball type tag used the past three years. The department said the new tag, to be issued with each combination or big game license, will be easier to use and more.
