Safety And Health Urged By 4-H Leaders
County 4 H leaders pressed safety and health programs for the year. Mrs Virtus McConkle reported state officials urged county leaders to stress safety. Two girls Jeanis Conkle and Eleanor King earned county awards for safety work and prepared outlines of hazards and remedies. Utah county was chosen by the Sister Club for the second year running as the outstanding 4 H safety program. County Demonstration Agent Jennieve Poulson said 862 members enrolled in the program.
