McKay touts forthcoming PILT payments to Utah counties
Utah Senator Gunn McKay announced a second PILT installment near 6 million for counties and a 160 million program for 1974 and likely years ahead. He said a Senate conference panel ensured full funding and that the measure has inertia to secure its place in appropriations. He listed county totals by name including Salt Lake and San Juan counties and warned disbursement timing remains unsettled with funds due by September 1977 for 1977 and unclear for 1978.
