Vernal Driller Dies in Oil Rig Accident
Bill L Molgard 33 of 3730 East 4000 South Vernal driller died Wednesday afternoon June 15 1977 when he fell from an oil derrick at a Gulf location in the Bluebell area. He was killed instantly and had worked three weeks at Western Petroleum. Services were held June 8 at Meyers Mortuary Ogden and burial followed in Willard Cemetery. Born January 31 1944 in Brigham City Utah he was the son of Lynn Jay and Lillie Day Molgard and raised by his grandfather Laurence Molgard.
