Utah State Press Association Convention Held in Salt Lake City

The Utah State Press Association met in Salt Lake City on June 5 and 6 for its largest gathering, with welcomed by Governor and others. James H Wallis presided for a final term as president. The group toured media facilities, heard calls for stronger newspapers, and elected officers W P Epper son Kayaville president Kayville Carlton Beaver News Milford vice president and R T Porte Porte Publishing secretary treasurer. A fall convention was set for Richfield.
