Vernal City adopts water rate ordinance 1922
The Vernal City Council enacts semi annual water rates for Vernal City Water Works. Rates cover shops, baths, confections, hotels, residences, laundries, livery and more with separate charges per item. Outside city limits double rates. ordinance effective July 1 1922 after approval and publication.

A quiet wedding occurred June 1 1928 in Vernal, Douglas L Allred and Grace L Caldwell wed by President Wallace Calder.
