A trio Richard Griffith James Gifford and Isabelle Gale paused in Vernal to rest and resupply after capsizing near Disaster Falls. Ward members from Naples Whiterocks and Davis held a multi-ward reunion Friday July 22 with programs, games, and community activities. Naples featured Memories theme and a one act play. Whiterocks hosted park events and supper. Davis staged army drill, songs, and picnic lunch with afternoon games and a boxing scoreboard.

Services Held For Victim Of Accident In Utah County
Edward Bry tate Ceccinups dies in a Friday construction site accident west of Duchesne Utah. He worked for Mendenhall Construction Co. in Springville and was crushed when a tractor brakes failed while attaching a chain to a truck. Burial followed at Lapoint Cemetery with Frank Olpin directing. Born April 7 1902 in Swan Lake Idaho he moved to Uintah county as a child and later to Lapoint where he married in 1933.
