Mary Elizabeth Peterson Maxfield 40 died July 13 in Richland Washington after a lingering illness. Born May 17 1912 in Hayden Utah to James C and YeVern Peterson Adams she married Harold Leslie Maxfield in Salt Lake City November 16 1937. The couple moved to Richland eight years ago where Mr Maxfield works for General Electric Hanford site. Surviving: husband two sons Thomas G 12 Phillip Lee 8 daughter Linda Louie 3 mother Mrs LeVern Adams stepfather Daniel A Adams three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held Thursday July 17 in Richland with family attending from Salt Lake and Ogden.

He worked for Santa Fe Railroad in 1921, moved to Uintah Ouray Reservation to farm, and belonged to local church group. Surviving are his widow of White Rocks and one son.
