Scratching The Surface on Union Reform In Congress
A Dill bill to curb union abuses would require detailed financial and procedural filings from unions and secret-ballot officer elections, but it scratches the surface. It fails to curb organizational picketing and secondary boycotts, and lacks state court authority to handle labor disputes, which would aid small businesses facing coercive tactics while preserving legitimate union rights. The piece argues broader reform is needed to protect workers and firms alike.
