Roosevelt junior college bill gains support in senate
Senator Billings introduces Senate Bill No 4 to establish a state junior college at Roosevelt for Uintah and Duchesne counties. Proponents say about 200 local graduates lack funds for higher studies and would benefit. The measure aims to fill a rural education gap with a two year program near Uintah Basin.
