Tourist trade misses Utah through lack of promotion
Tom Jensen of the Associated Civic clubs urged Southern and Eastern Utah groups to boost promotion. He displayed 18 and 200,000 folders sent nationwide inviting visitors, arguing Utah’s 34 hour average stay yields potential losses of tens of millions in revenue if longer visits were encouraged. He cited comparisons with neighboring states and called for broader distribution through bureaus and travel centers.
