Penelope Gatlin's Turbulent Path Through Crime and Flight
In a melodramatic sequence, Theodore Gatlin adopts Penelope to ease his marriage crisis, but the child remains with Mira as court battles unfold. Years later Penelope reappears amid hospital fights, a San Francisco crime plot, Nance Belden’s escape from San Quentin, and detective McNamara’s pursuit with Lanny and Dan Mechamara, leading to a tense pursuit and hospital scenes.
