Returned LDS missionaries home for holidays highlight
Three Macser fellows Bruce Hall Melvin Bodily and Duane Price returned from missions to Northwestern States North California and North Central States and were welcomed with a welcome home party at the chapel. Many relatives and friends visited during Christmas and New Year events across Salt Lake City Provo Orem and Logan with extended family gatherings and church group activities.

Alfred Collins Named Livestock Man of the Year
Alfred M Collins of the Back Grant Ranch in Crestone Colorado is named Man of the Year in Livestock by The Record Stockman for 18 years of ranch care and a pioneering irrigation system. He improved grass and cattle breeding, expanded grazing capacity, and built a 150 mile ditch network across 10 acres per head with nine water rights across six streams.
