One Dies Six Injured In Uintah County Traffic Mishaps
A 31 year old Whiterocks resident Mentora Couris Frank died at Uintah County Hospital after a two vehicle wreck three miles east of Lapoint on Verdalapoint road. Six others including Cornelia Washington Clive Martle and Calvin Washington were injured with injuries ranging from lacerations to skull fractures. A second crash near Jensen involved Robert Gilmore from Salt Lake City, who rolled a car after striking a guard rail and was cited for reckless driving. A third accident at Jensen injures Joseph Jaserie and Maurice Morton. citations pending for Willes after a crash at First West and Main Street.
