Survived by three sons Ed L Wallace and Lindsey, fifteen grandchildren, and one sister Mrs Aries Lindsay. Dols Sainsbury from St Johns appears as the mother while Mildred King and Dale Jensen portray the married couple. Miss Wentz directs expressing high confidence in a big hit.

Funeral services for Albert McCurdy a pioneer of Ashley Valley were held Monday at the Glines Ward chapel with Bishop J B Laton officiating. George A Slaugh William Pearce and others spoke of his life and faith. Interment was in Vernal cemetery. He was born February 8 1872 at Midway Utah and came to Ashley Valley in 1862. Surviving are two sons a daughter and siblings.
Funeral services for Lydia Cook were held Friday January 26 at 2 pm in the Vernal Second Ward chapel with Bishop J Clive Davis conducting. A large crowd paid respects. speakers noted her faith, church service, and community work. She was born in London in 1858, moved to Utah at 16, married William Cask in 1879, and resided in Vernal since 1892.

William Davis of Lapoint was severely injured Wednesday of last week when a box of about 100 dynamite caps exploded. He lit a fuse to dispose of them at a field near his home to protect children. A spark from the match ignited the box, causing deep lacerations and burns. An examination at Roosevelt saved his eyesight. he is reported to be recovering.
George Gray 71, longtime Vernalite, died January 18 1933 in Oakland California after a brief illness. He came to Vernal in 1891 and opened the Gray gal coal mine in 1900. Interment was January 19 at Tatr Mount cemetery Oakland. Survived by brother John W Oakland sister Mrs Eliza Lind Vernal and children Charles He Oakland W Les Goos E P Vernal Arthur R East Side Mrs Ruth Powell Vernal.
Death at 815 a m on Wednesday February 1 marks the passing of Mary Eliza Jacob Preece known as Aunt Mary Presce in Ashley Valley. Born December 25 1849 near Salt Lake City, she arrived in the valley September 16 1878 with husband Robert Snyder and became a pioneer matriarch admired for serenity and fortitude. Funeral details continue on page four.
