Trans-Mississippi Commercial Congress Sees Broad U S Fortification and Inland Waterways Plan

The Trans Mississippian Commercial Congress in San Antonio ends a four day session with a 600 page volume sent to President Taft and leaders. It backs continued fortifications for Pearl Harbor and Gulf Coast bases, inland waterway improvements, and a $500 million bond plan, pushing for ongoing appropriations and Galveston harbor and Buffalo Bayou projects.
