Two Teens Die in High Speed Van Roll-Over Near Vernal
Highway Patrol in Vernal investigates a Tuesday crash on U S 21 that killed Bernard W. McKowen 17 of Vernal and Felicia Jones 15 of Ouray. The pickup rolled at high speed eight miles west of Vernal. Michael J. Greeley 21 was in critical condition in Salt Lake City with internal injuries. James J. Powell 20 and Frank W. Mickell 18, both of Vernal, suffered serious injuries. Total Tri County deaths reach 20 for 1976.

Four hospitalized as automobile rams truck
A Tuesday afternoon crash at 2 45 p m near 1500 West and Main injured four people. Max Rasmussen in a northbound Ford pickup collided with a Wood sedan driven by Vickie Fergin Wood. The Wood car struck a canal, while the pickup veered into a dirt driveway.
