A Minnesota Institute study shows Utah’s net corporate income tax is below the national average and lower than several comparably situated states. On 25000 dollars net income Utah pays 327 dollars, vs the national 415. Other states cited include Idaho 668 Oregon 567 California 482 Colorado 433 Arizona 410 New Mexico 173. The state tax commission cost per dollar collected fell to 0.018 in the latest year from 0.212 previously. Farm income rose to 15 billion nationally from 6.3 billion in 1941, with prospects for further gains per Giannini Foundation.
