Jensen Couple Return After Spending Bummer on Pioneer Trail
The Brigham Young University summer school course in art under Prof. Larson will become historical as Mr. and Mrs. Alton H. Peterson recount their 3000 mile trip with 27 art students. They traveled the Old Mormon Trail from Nauvoo to the University, making over 1500 sketches. Peterson, a BYU art major, will teach at Bunkerville High School Nevada.

Funeral held Wednesday for Mrs Angeline T Winn
The funeral for Mrs Angeline Thomas Winn was held Wednesday at Vernal First Ward chapel with Bishop Pontha Calder officiating. Music by a mixed quartet and soloists accompanied by Mrs Mable Stage. Speakers included Driver Ethirn, Archie Johnson, and Bishop Calder. A telegram from California was read. Burial at Vernal Cemetery. Mrs Winn died in Park City on Sunday at her home of James Winn. Born Lehi December 16 1854 daughter of Preston and Jane Morehead Thomas. Attended Frankun Idaho and later moved to Ashley Valley. Survived by three children Margaret Winn Weel Los Angeles May Winn Parker Price.

A Junior Chamber of Commerce library dance at Hoos Beach proved very successful both socially and financially. It raised over a sum to be added to the library fund, with prizes awarded to winning ticket holders. The evening featured music by a local orchestra.
