Registration Underway for High Uinta Scout Camp in June
Scout troops and explorer posts prepare for the Uintah District Camporee May 18 19 at Ashley Creek and Vernal Avenue with 25 cent registration to cover badges. Camp includes campfire program night hike breakfast and Scoutcraft contests plus 24 merit badges and a cross country trip for explorers. Registration runs to May 15 for the 1956 High Uintah Camp June 25 30 with fee 150 and health insurance.

Cub Leaders Train in Basin Cub Scout Course at Uintah Center
Twenty three den mothers and assistants attend the Basin Cub Scout training course led by Rulon Dean Skinner at Uintah Stake Center each Tuesday 2 to 4 pm. The six week program covers fundamentals, program planning, achievements and pack meetings with ideas for tricks puzzles and games. Pack 2234 shows the largest registration with den mothers from multiple packs. Graduation certificates await those completing five of six sessions or four with a written makeup.
