Tridell Lapoint water project funded by state board

The State Board of Water Resources will fund over 1 million dollars for the Tridell Lapoint culinary water improvement in Uintah County. Board to buy 150000 in district bonds to be repaid over 19 years. A 10 monthly charge per connection will retire debt and cover project costs.

Flash Fire at Red Wash Rig Injures Driller

A spark ignited surface gas at Thompson No. 5 rig five miles south of Red Wash. The crew was going in the hole when a surface gas burp sparked flames. Driller Charles Greenwood received burns to hand forearm and face while Reed Stanley sustained facial flash burns. both were treated at Uintah County Hospital.

Fires reach Dinosaur campgrounds at Deer Lodge area

Vernal Fire Department Tackles 11 Fires in Six Days

Three exploratory wells planned in Book Cliffs region
